I've got one OSx machine, and two running Win 7. They're both very good OS's, but overall my choice is Win7, mostly because, hard as I've tried, I can't duplicate the range of software on the Mac that I rely on with Windows. I solve this on my Mac by running a virtual Windows machine under VMWare , and I spend more time on the Windows than the Mac side.

I'll actually be there too. It's my first year going but I live in Austin so I figured why not. Can't wait for the crazing hosting parties.

As a very clear thinking individual, I will argue quite strongly for the benefits of porn, at least for those who use it as a healthy form of sexual expression. You will find that will most experts in psychology and sexology would do the same.

Putting that aside, however, why on earth would you censor a website like asexuality.org? I mean, you'd have to be totally nuts to consider something like that obscene.

What about the beta results? Are we privy to those :) IDedicated servers are insanely expensive, we have a few out near us in the hot zones (strictly data storage though I think). I'll have to check it out.

Hi Matt,

As a customer of Bluehost for more than 4 yrs now, and might be more for the rest of my life, I REALLY REALLY hope Bluehost could increase their plan with currently 50,000 files is the limit on all our plans.

It really limits my ideas of what i need to insert in my blogs, forums, websites...etc..

The secret to sucess is in how you percieve your reality and take steps to modify it. Glass half full or half empty. Great article.. with some good points. I personally use a bit of NLP in my business interactions as i find that its all bout communication, thats the secret to sucess

Attaboy for John @ BlueHost Support:

As a Web generalist "tech helper" for the account holder, I had a real thorny CubeCart issue. trying to assist him in by doing website edits after a "vanishing site developer" debacle.
John on your support staff saved the day with his investigation of the site files coupled with his obvious experience in CMS and handled my boondoggle with a very helpful and patient attitude. Well done!
As I conveyed to John, we out here in the trenches cannot function w/out a very high level of tech support from you Hosting Providers.

I mentioned my disheartening support experience w/ one of your competitors who's represented by a foxy race car driver; unfortunately, she was busy driving, so wasn't available to help me w/ their client's tech support issue that I was attempting to solve. She prob'ly would've done better than the person who was unwilling to help me.

The great support is much appreciated.

Matt,

although i dont agree with microsoft's stance on opensource/free license software, I must voice my concern regarding relevent WebDisk updates. I use Windows 7, Fedora 10, and OS 10.6 in my Office, and I loved the WebDisk Support with WinXP. Nothing on 7. You cannot turn your back on the general infrastructure of business computing without falling behind the curve. Unix can do everything, I know this first hand, but the end user has to want it...

Well done! I've seen Fast Domain's eye-catching domain growth rate and given the fact domain's are only available with a hosting package, it says a lot about the quality customer base you've created.

Best wishes on 2.5!
