Lakers Lose (All is well…)

If you want to believe that the CEO of Bluehost and Hostmonster is a mature, controlled individual skip this blog entry :)

Everybody loves to win, but sometimes you lose. Unfortunately this was the case for my beloved Utah Jazz a couple of weeks back. However, to my extraordinary pleasure something almost as good as the Jazz winning happened yesterday.

The LOS ANGELES LAKERS LOST!!!!! YEAH, YES, INCREDIBLE, SPLENDID, STUPENDOUS, SUPERB, DELUXE, FANTASTIC, EXCITING, DELIGHTFUL, DELICIOUS (Only took 10 seconds to come up with adjectives to describe my joy).

I love to hate the Lakers. Images of them winning cause my body to contort and spasm with disgust. Watching the Lakers win is like having 100 chickens pecking my eyes out little by little for the whole NBA season and then throwing me into that pit/monster thing in the Return of the Jedi at the end of the season. Lucky for me I don’t have to worry about this anymore.

Congrats to Pierce, Allen, Garnett and the rest of the Boston Celtics. They truly deserved it this year and I’m pleased as punch that it happened.

Matt Heaton :)

I think every Jazz fan has hated the Lackers ever since Shaq and Greg Ostertag tangled. I felt the same as you as I cheered the Celtics nearly as loud as I cheered the Jazz.

Bahaha! I KNOW! I hate the Lakers! And Kobe is overrated. ^_^

  3. I loved the Celtics win two fold. The company I work for is based in Boston (sort of) and I have been to see the Celtics and Knicks.
Secondly as a Jazz fan, it was good to see the Lakers lose, although I hate the Grizzlies too for trading Gasol for nothing to the Lakers! We would be champs now if they didn’t!

For some reason I remember babysitting at the Heaton home and Matt was waiting for his friends to come over after a game of some sort. You were so against that game, that sport, and said something like, “I’d rather be…(something probably really unpleasant) than be at that game.” It was some BYU thing, but I almost feel like it was a Jazz thing? Did you used to hate sports and now you love them, or did you hate football then and now? This is a question I keep meaning to ask. Ring any bells?
